Program Cost

  • Girls on the Run Fall 2017 registration fee:  $165.00

Scholarships

Families can apply for a partial scholarship by going through the registration process.  Partial scholarships are awarded based on a  sliding scale based on family income.  Full scholarships are applied for by calling 404-667-4101.

 

Age Requirements

  • Girls on the Run is for girls in grades 3-5.
  • Girls on Track is for girls in grades 6-8.

Each site is limited to 15 to 18 girls and is on a first come, first serve basis.  If site fills up, your child will be put on a waitlist. Please register early!

Fall 2017 Program Dates

Fall 2017: Start week of August 28, 2017 and ends November 11, 2017

  •  Mon/Wed site locations will start on Monday, August 28, 2017
  • Tue/Thur or Tue/Fri site locations will start on Tuesday, August 29,2017

Girls on the Run 5K Event: November 11, 2017 


Please note:

Girls on the Run North Georgia follows the Forsyth County School calendar for programs offered in Forsyth County, Hall County School calendar for programs offered in Hall County, and Cherokee County school calendar for programs offered in Cherokee County.

**GOTR sessions in Forsyth County schools will meet on early release days immediately following release.  Check our website and Facebook page for further details on exact dates.

For Sharon Springs Park, Fowler Park, and Central Park: Please note that we do not have indoor space in the event of inclement weather.  Follow this link to find more information about our Weather Related policies for groups that meet in area parks.

For Forsyth County groups that meet in area parks only: GOTR follows Forsyth County’s inclement/rainout policies. Sharon Springs Park, Central Park and Fowler Park locations only: Call the Forsyth County Rainout Line: (770) 886-2851 option 1 for field closings information.  Field closings will be for "grassy" fields.
